American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)

AAHA LogoThe Princeton Animal Hospital and the Carnegie Cat Client is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Members can be accredited and stay accredited only after passing regularly scheduled accreditation reviews. The initial process of accreditation began with the design of our building in the late 90’s. The process took a year of continuous committee meetings among our staff to finalize our commitment to the AAHA standards. You might think that all veterinary hospitals operate accordingly but this is simply not the case. Adherence to these standards takes financial budgeting, commitment and discipline by the entire healthcare team.

What does this mean for your pet? The AAHA is the world's leading association of companion animal practitioners. To achieve AAHA-certification, our hospital has passed comprehensive inspections of our facility and maintains strict standards that exceed the AAHA's requirements. (Scoring in the 99% of all AAHA hospitals) Only a small percentage of veterinary hospitals in the country achieve this designation. We are committed to the AAHA because we strive to be the best veterinary hospital possible so that we can provide your pet with the best care, current treatment, preventative medicine, and vaccination programs. When your pet comes to an AAHA-certified practice, you can rest assured knowing your faithful companion will receive the highest-quality veterinary care. AAHA-accreditation is another example of our commitment to your pet's health.
