Effie
Native to Queens, New York, Effie has worked at Princeton Animal Hospital since 2002.
Effie spends most of her free time caring for her four children, Jacklyn, Jorge-Tyler, Anastasia and Demetrios, and her pets – Noodles, Ninja, Romeo, and Sally. The family enjoys reading, playing Rock Band, and watching movies together.
Effie is our head customer service employee. She has a reputation for her ability to secure service for owners that require immediate medical care for their pets. Effie is detailed and methodical. She is definitely the go-to person for scheduling for all the doctors.
Sarah Thiem
Sarah Thiem has one goal she aspires to: "Go above our clients' expectations" and we're happy to say she exceeds that goal every day. Sarah answers client calls, checks clients in and out, scans charts and assists in all aspects of customer service. She joined our staff in November of 2012 and has been working in an animal-related field for the past six years.
"I decided to join Princeton Animal Hospital because of the people. It's important to like the people you work with," Sarah said. "And everyone here sincerely cares about animals."
Sarah cares about her animals at home, too. She has two dogs, Roxy and Larry, who she loves to take to the park. As for her hobbies, Sarah said that she is a complete tomboy and she loves being outside camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking and she pursues her passion for photography and art. Sarah also has an associate's degree in graphic design and does freelance work on the side.
Rania Salem
Receptionist Rania Salem joined the staff at Princeton Animal Hospital in April of 2012. She helps out in any numbr of ways at the hospital, including answering client calls, checking our clients in and out and scanning medical charts. Rania is pursuing a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
She relaxes by spending time with friends and family, taking trips to the beach and into the city and watching movies.
Ana Diaz
Ana joined Princeton Animal Hospital as a receptionist in 2010. She shares her home with two pit bulls named Baxter and Boomer, one Shih Tzu named Dice, one Chihuahua named Senorita, a long haired cat named Snowy, and a talkative parrot named Chipper. When not at work, Ana can be found at the movies, at Applebee's, or chasing her 5-year old son, Jeremiah.
