We offer various boarding options for cats. Our dedicated staff of caring technicians tends to all your pet's needs and comforts. You can rest assured knowing that your pet is boarding in a home away from home atmosphere, with multiple veterinarians on staff with someone available 24/7/365 to tend to any concerns or emergencies. If your pet requires medication, our knowledgeable staff members can dispense it. For an additional fee, we offer specialized boarding for diabetic cats and dogs.
Boarding at our hospital is for clients only. All cats must be current on their vaccines (feline distemper, feline infectious respiratory disease complex and rabies) you must also have record of a negative fecal sample. If pets are not up-to-date, we can complete these vaccinations when your pet is admitted.
If you are not a client at our practice, your pet will require an exam PRIOR to boarding to establish a patient/doctor/client relationship. This is a mandatory exam to ensure the safety and health of all boarders and patients under our care. Please call to schedule an exam prior to your pets boarding. You must be present for the examination, so please allow extra time.
Three styles of accommodations for your cat: Cat Condos are available upon request. The condo gives your loved one extra space, a shelf to perch on and a removable panel to allow two related cats to move between two separate condos for double the space. Our standard cages are very spacious and offer a quiet atmosphere. Geriatric boarding is for all cats 15 years of age and older. Our geriatric boarders cozy up in a comfortable cage close to the technician station where they can receive the constant supervision they require. No matter which style you choose, you can be assured that your cat will get lots of TLC.
Drop Off Veterinary Service: In order to accommodate your schedule, we offer a drop-off / pick-up service. Providing you have called and made arrangements with the hospital in advance, you may drop off your pet and pick him / her up at a later time.
After dropping off your pet, requested services are performed during the course of the day. You are welcome to call the veterinary hospital during office hours in order to discuss the progress of your pet's treatment. In the case of a sick or injured pet, the owner is called after the initial examination, and recommendations for treatment as well as estimates of costs are given. Veterinary services typically scheduled are vaccinations, dips, orthopedic consultations, pre-anesthetic workups, ultrasounds, radiographs, sick pet examinations, diabetic monitoring and many more.
